For my holiday's homework I watched The Day After Tomorrow, the cast for this film were Dennis Quaid, Jake Gyllenhaal, Emmy Rossum, Ian Holm and Sela Ward.
The Day After Tomorrow- Chopper's Freezing
This is an extract scene from the film that made the intention or meaning of the destruction of the earth clear. The film is based in the idea of the humans destructing the planet earth in days if not hours. The settings for the film are mainly in New York City although there are some scenes filmed in other parts of the planet as for example there is a shot in Tokyo.
The sound effects used for this film are the best ones ever, as this ones create suspense and in some cases makes the viewer panic with the characters. The sound are mainly of buildings or any material things that can break easily. also when there is the storm is difficult to hear what the reporter is trying to inform to the viewers of that channel, meaning that the storm, the wind is to hard to be able to hear anything else but except people screaming in the background at all times.
