Audience data describes the gender, age, ethnicity, social group and region of the film audience as a whole and for particular popular film titles.
Thrillers tend to be aimed at 12 - 18 age certificates as they may have innappropriate content, such as violence that may not be suitable for younger viewers. The subgenre can heavily influence the target audience for a thriller as some can be more horror based compared to others that can be crime based.
