Discrete Title Sequence

 SE7EN

Discrete title sequences are created by using loads of editing.  This gives the audience a hint of what the movie’s genre it might be, although the use of jump cuts in this discrete opening creates uncertainty in the audience of what the movie is exactly going to be about.

Traditional

Traditional title sequences are used to give the audience a place where they can relate to, where the films is going to take place, as it also gives an inside of the drama. As in this film Panic Room, the titles are as if attached to the buildings, creating the effect of being one with the city. The use of editing isn't as in exaggeration as with the stylish title sequence.
